Lindsey is a highly skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 23 years of experience.  Most recently, she was the Principal Occupational Therapist for an NHS Trust for over 10 years, including four years as Early Years Integrated Therapy Lead.

Lindsey works with children with a range of disabilities and needs including cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delay, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), sensory processing difficulties, Down’s syndrome and acquired brain injury. She has expertise in the assessment and treatment of children and young people from 0-19.

Lindsey is experienced in using a wide range of standardised and non-standardised assessments for children who experience difficulties with fine and gross motor skills, coordination, self-care, handwriting, sensory processing and participation.  She also has experience of upper limb splinting and 24-hour postural management, including specialist seating.  Lindsey works collaboratively with children and their families and schools to develop practical treatment plans to support the child to reach their maximum potential.

She has completed a variety of post graduate training including Bobath neurodevelopmental techniques and advanced Bobath for early intervention.  Further sensory training includes: ‘Is it Sensory or is it Behaviour’ and ‘Sensory Babies’.

Lindsey is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the specialist section for Children Young People and Families.  She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
